My throat started acting funny yesterday. I feel like there is something stucked there, but I can swallow food just as usual. I just don't feel very comfortable with my throat. I know the best way is to go see a doctor, but I want to hear some suggestions about my situation first, thank you.

Often the feeling that something is stuck in your throat, especially if there is no pain, is due to mucus draining down the back of your throat. When that mucus is thick, it doesn't drain well. This can happen due to respiratory infections, allergies, or respiratory irritants.

This is also a common complaint of people who suffer from GE reflux. Reflux causes swelling and irritation leading to that "something is stuck in my throat" phenomenon.

The doctor should be able to tell you what the problem is after seeing your throat.
