After almost starving to death at age 18 months, with less then 24 hrs to live, the doctor saved the baby ( me ) but said he would always be a ruminator ??

Ruminating means to obsess, and go over thoughts in your mind...when you can think of only one thing, over and over again, no matter how hard you try to think of something, anything else. I cant explain why the doctor would think your close call would turn you into a ruminator, Maybe he had an old wives tale, or something. Everyone tends to ruminate over something difficult , at some point in their lives.

ruminator - a reflective thinker characterized by quiet contemplation
muser, ponderer, muller
thinker - someone who exercises the mind (usually in an effort to reach a decision)
