I have a fear of pulling out my teeth, its loose but won't come out on its own. I'm 14 and I have braces and the longer it takes for the tooth to fall out the longer i will have braces.

its a paste with very fine granules of something

the one from my dentist comes in this tiny 'one time' use cup, covered with aluminum foil, and its very thick, almost not a paste

i've asked my dentist to give me some and he did, but i dont like to keep asking.

they are not "retail packaged" and being in tiny round cups tells me they were specifically made for the dentist's apparatus

anyone know of anything similar?

i really like the clean feeling they give

thanks

OKAY MY LITTLE TEACUP CHICHI DOG HAS HAD BAD BREATH SINCE I GOT HER (2 MONTHS AGO), AND NOW THAT IM STARTING TO BRING HER AROUND, WHEN PEOPLE GET CLOSE AND SHE GETS UP FOR A KISS, HER BREATH SMELLS LIKE SOMEONE HAD DIED IN THERE.

I was always aware of this but i didnt know what to do exactly. my mind always said "JUST BRUSH HER TEETH LIKE U WOULD NORMALLY". And that's what i did not too long ago, it smells better but once she goes back to eating her dog food it wont.

Im going to bring this up next time I go to the vet, it's not like she's going to die so i'll just do so then. But in the meantime...

-DO I CHANGE HER DIET?
-KNOW OF ANY TOYS/TREATS, ETC. FOR HER SIZE
-HOME REMEDIES?
-JUST KEEP BRUSHING HER TEETH?

ANY SUGGESTIONS/COMMENTS ARE WELCOME

My wisdom teeth are coming in, so I thought nothing when the gum behind my upper right molar became swollen. It was not painful, only slightly discomfiting. However, feeling the lump with my tongue during class, I realized it was a sort of bubble or blister, which burst. I didn't leave class to look, but I know some blood came out when the bubble burst. The skin on the gum is now loose and feels lower than the other side. I am studying abroad, and don't have a dentist here- I went to my dentist just two months before I left- and I really don't want to have to fly home over this or visit the ER here if I don't have to. Any suggestions as to what the swelling was and why that side of my gum now feels "deflated" compared to the other side?

i am 15
and ever since i can remember.. probably as i got my 2nd teeth, i noticed that one of my central incisors has a yellow stain in the middle of it but the rest of it is white.
Also, since i can remember i have always had quite white teeth, but whiter "blobs" on them. Someone told me this might be caused by dental flurosis?
Does anyone know if there is a way to cure this and how?
It makes me feel really self consious

Here is my problem. 1 wisdom tooth, 75% of the enamel is gone, it's abscessed (infected) , and hurt 95% of the day.
Is there a way to get rid of the pain? I'm currently taking near lethal doses of ibuprofen (3,000MG every 24 hours), and very high doses of acetaminophen (about 4,000MG every 24 hours). These 2 drugs do almost nothing. Regular aspirin does nothing. I decided to try hydrocodone (left over from something else) , hoping to get some sleep (only sleep I got the last week was when I literally passed out), well I got about 20 minutes sleep before I woke up with severe pain, and could not go back to bed.
Topical antiseptics do not work.

My major problem is: No dentist in my area will accept payments, there are no free/low cost dental clinics, none of the 4 ERs in my area will accept patients with tooth problems. There isn't even enough enamel left for me to try pulling it myself.
My zip code is 47129.
Any ideas?

I had 2 teeth pulled on my lower jaw( premolars) and my orthodontist put in these bands from my molars where the braces start, to my canine, since there is now a gap between these...and it feels really uncomfortable, not a pain, but like a feeling that i must bite down furiously, how do i alleviate this and how long does this discomfort last?

Just had a few teeth filled (only had one previous cavity filled twenty years ago so I am not familiar with this procedure)--my teeth which were worked on are now very sensitive to cold and heat and painful.

How long does this pain last and when should I expect the pain from heat and cold to stop?

hi guys. I have a very big problem. My tooth at the upper part at the back really hurts. i saw a cavity in it. It ate half of my tooth. (waah!) i've been having pain for almost a week now. but today is different. Even when i just close my mouth and it touches my lower teeth, it instantly hurts. (like it's as if it's coming off but it doesn't) I can't even eat. I've taken several mefenamic acids but the pain won't wore off. i even tried warm salt gargle. What can i do to get rid of the pain (temporarily) so that i could go to the dentist and get it extracted? thank you in advance!!

My 3 y.o is having his back lower molar extracted tomorrow which he had a metal cap put on 2 months ago but the tooth became infected and now they want to pull it. I am very distraught over this. I was up all night worrying about it. My son is not comfortable with the dentist and we actually are switching to a new dentist but new dentist won't pull the tooth since the other dentist capped it. When we had the metal cap put on the dentist strapped my son to a chair and ever since then my son is deathly afraid. (can you blame him) I'm worried about what will happen tomorrow. What is the worst case scenario? Has any child ever died from an extraction? What if he won't keep the gauze in his mouth, will he bleed to death or something? Am I overreacting? He is only 3 years old.
