Hi! I've been in dentistry for over 25 years and NO, you do not pull anything. Your Ortho may have moved the teeth to let the tooth fall out and open up the area for the permanent tooth to come it. Leave it alone. You are not a dentist and the rooth will dissolve and the tooth will fall out when it is ready or he will do it. Don't let this bother you. I often have had baby teeth retain for a period of time until it was best to remove them. BUT not by the patient. Just wait until your next visit and he will take care of it. THIS has NO effect on how long you are in braces. Good luck. M

Grab your favorite juice or pop and throw in a few shots of strong whiskey, such as vodka or To-Kill-ya. Slam it down and wuh la. You can now pull the tooth however you want too. Just kidding, don't do it, cause that's just wrong. If you can wriggle it back and forth I'd try that. Use your tongue to move it while you go about your day. Eventually, it will be so lose you can't help but pull it with your fingers. If it is that loose that you can use your fingers then it should not hurt hardly at all. It is interesting that you are 14. I had my baby teeth until about then too. It baffled friends.

I think this is a question for your orthodontist. I'm surprised it hasn't come up before. In my opinion - totally not an expert - I would think it could be pulled, as long as the braces will keep the space open for the new tooth to grow out straight.

Won't your mom pull it for you? Here, this is what we did as kids: tie one end of a string around the tooth, the other around a door knob of an open door. Then step back and slam the door shut, of course you have to make sure the string is tight beforehand and that you tie the string so, that the braces don't get damaged.
It's quick and won't hurt:)

tie a string around the tooth, climb to the top of a ladder, tie the other end of the string around a ceiling light fixture, then jump of the ladder.
just kidding
ask your mom or dad after you put some ambesol on the area or go to the dentist.

Don't attempt to pull it out yourself, its best to get advice from a dentist on whether its should be removed surgically. I had the same problem once and they surgically removed it. It was absolutly painless.

If you want to be grizzly about it pull it out with pliers or you could just ask the dentist to do it.

Give it a couple of twists. Push with your tounge. If that does not work twist as far as you can and pull.
Your 14 and you have baby teeth!
