My top front two teeth are facing inwards a bit. Not too much. I always wanted to fix it but never got around to it. Now i was wandering could i fix it my biting down on the top of a water bottle and pulling forward everyday for a set amount of time? Will that pull my teeth forward after a while?

Hey,
Just wondering if there are any other brands available. Hopefully name brands. I have tried a couple of knock-offs and they are just awful. Can't even stand the taste of them. They were the kind from like the dollar store where they have "fake" ones of everything.

I just need to know if anyone knows of any other ones that are the "real" kind. Please tell me the brand and where to get it.

Thank you.

i've been using hydrogen peroxide for teeth whitening. i don't dilute it with water. i think the bottle contains about 20 volumes of hydrogen peroxide, can't remeber exactly, but it's 20. ive been using it for 5 days now, and i noticed a lil portion of my gums on the lower set of my teeth has turned whitish. it even hurts a little, like a wound.

can someone help me on my prob? it really bothers me. i dont want to stop using hydrogen peroxide (a short time not using it might be fine) because i want to whiten my teeth. what should i do?

I moved to a new town and thus a new dentist. My old dentist did a cleaning every four months and kept an eye on my deep pockets which never trouble me. The new dentist says I need root planing. About ten years ago I paid 150 per quadrant. Considering inflation I would expect it to be about 300 per quadrant now but fear it is even more. Can anyone tell me what they paid recently per quadrant?

hi, im 21 years old. and have bad teeth. well i used to. right now i have no insurance, but i have one temp bridge, and two crowns in my upper teeth. the bridge consists of 3 teeth. these are all my 5 upper teeth together. i hate it! they always come loose and i have to go in like every 5 months to get them re cemented on. and i can't afford anything. however, i just got a new job, and i will have dental insurance. im thinking about implants. now i would do my top 6 teeth, since its the two crowns, my real tooth, then the 3 tooth bridge. would this be worth it? even at a young age? i just hate my smile, the bridge is starting to change color, and im so embarassed to smile.

when getting dental implants, can they do any color i would want? how long do i have to wait to start eating normal again? please tell me any expierances you have, and any info you have.

I just went to a new dentist last wednesday for a cavity I already knew I had (was pregnant so i ignored it) and the pain got so bad I decided it was time to get it fixed.

They didnt do anything except take x-rays and do a periodontal disease check. I left with a pretty sore mouth (i'd never had a dentist use a periodontal tool before), I have a partially ruptured wisdom tooth that hurt pretty bad the next morning, while everything else was just sore. I figured it was just growing and ignored the pain for nearly 5 days.

Finally, when medication stopped touching the pain, and the back of my jaw was swollen and full of puss i went to the ER (I was out of town).

What iam wondering is, the hygenist kept commenting on all the plaque and i needed a cleaning and on and on, so if i needed a cleaning why wouldnt they do that BEFORE shoving all the plaque into my gums with a probe?

Anyway, have you ever gotten an infection? Either by periodontal tool or rough cleaning or such

I've have decently white teeth before I had braces. I kept my same brushing habits. As I am now nearing the removal my braces in a coouple of days my teeth have grown yellow over 2 years. Will they be able to be white again. If not I'm going to kick my orthodontist in the balls. And how long will it take them to be white.

Oh and I'm not sure if braces are just pieces of metal tightened on your teeth. Is there a difference between these and spacers and retainers? How long do you usually leave it on? Any help, tips, suggestions from experience is greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty embarrassed to admit it, but when I was young, I had a loose baby tooth. I was too scared to get it pulled and my parents didn't seem to care. I'm 23 years old and have never been to a dentist. I still have a baby tooth behind the adult tooth. It doesn't hurt, but the adult tooth is seriously misshapen and misplaced. I'm getting insurance soon and would like to have it extracted.

Is there anyone else who has had the same experience? Any advice you can give me? Thanks!
