I just got my crown on today, about a few hours ago and I seem to have trouble eating because the back of the crown is too big, like the top area theres a rounded kinda big side... will this file down with time... ?

No, it won't wear down. Do you mean that the bite is high and you hit this tooth first? If so call the office ASAP and get in for an adjustment before you excite the nerve. If you just mean that the tooth feels to big but the bite is OK then give it a week or so and see if you get used to it. They always feel different at first as you've had a temp. on for a couple of weeks.

Go back to your dentist and he can adjust the bite some more. This is a common problem but it is not hard to fix. The dentist will not remove the crown and redo it. If you don't take care of it then your tooth will be very sore because you are putting all of your pressure on that tooth first.

Go back to your dentist, and the dentist will remove it and do it over.
