I moved to a new town and thus a new dentist. My old dentist did a cleaning every four months and kept an eye on my deep pockets which never trouble me. The new dentist says I need root planing. About ten years ago I paid 150 per quadrant. Considering inflation I would expect it to be about 300 per quadrant now but fear it is even more. Can anyone tell me what they paid recently per quadrant?

HELLO SHELBY,
THE COST FOR A PROCEDURE KNOWN AS A CODE #4341 VARIES FROM REGION TO REGION, AND WHETHER A SPECIALIST OR GENERAL DENTIST DOES THE WORK.
THE COST HERE IN THE MIDWEST CAN BE FROM $145-225 PER QUADRAND.
