Yes ... the stains on your natural teeth are usually shallow and the bleaching agent can whiten them easily ... crowns are dyed to match your existing teeth and any pigmentation is through the material which is then sealed, a superficial bleaching agent is not likely to do much to it to keep up with the effect on the rest of your teeth ...

The only thing you can whiten are natural teeth. So b4 you do any restorative work. Bleach first then restore (crowns, fillings).

Your natural teeth are the only thing that will bleach. Crowns and fillings do not bleach.
