My teeth are kinda straight. I only have a gap in the center of my teeth, is there a way to close it without getting braces?

Retainers do what they say--retain the position of teeth. Some retainer-like appliances can move teeth, but closing a mid-line diastema needs to be carefully evaluated. If you are dead-set against braces, ask your general dentist about bonding some composite on each tooth. The results can be amazing.

There are several ways and it is dependent on how much money you want to spend. Retainers are not the best way to go unless you have had previous orthodontic treatment because they don't only move the teeth in the front of your mouth.
A more effective way to get composite bonding done. Your dentist will just add some material to each tooth, zap it with a curing light, shape it up and you are done. The bonding lasts several years.
A more permanent but more costly solution would be porcelain veneers.
