I've have decently white teeth before I had braces. I kept my same brushing habits. As I am now nearing the removal my braces in a coouple of days my teeth have grown yellow over 2 years. Will they be able to be white again. If not I'm going to kick my orthodontist in the balls. And how long will it take them to be white.

I think that happens to most people. Part of it is because they don't appear as white when you have braces on, and part of it is because they do discolour a bit.
Unless your teeth have gotten extremely yellow compared to everyone else who has had braces there shouldn't be a problem.

The orthodontist usually gives them a good 'industrial' clean and they appear a completely normal colour with no stains.

I only had braces for a little over a year, but i worried about the same thing. The night before getting them off, I was completely worried that my teeth would have stains - they didn't. Are you even sure your teeth are really yellow? If so, you should get them cleaned when you get your braces off. And try using crest white strips. When I got my braces put on, my orthodontist gave me a product called PreviDent. I'm pretty sure you can buy it in stores. He said it has fluoride in it and it helps whiten teeth. You could also start using mouth wash with fluoride in it if you haven't already.

I hope that helped.

Often what is yellowed the most is the extra cement that is around the brackets. If the teeth became yellow, it has nothing to do with your orthodontist. Teeth become darker as people get older. Also, if your eating and drinking habits include any dark soda or coffee/tea, you have done it to yourself. To whiten it again, you can try over the counter products or you can do in office whitening.

you can ask your orthodontist to whiten it for you using a powdered substance brush or something like that.
my teeth were really yellow when i removed mine. like really YELLOW.
the dentist did some powder thing, and after that, it was white.
not really white, but it helps remove the staining. .

It depends on the cause of the yellowing. I can't see how the braces could have caused it. You can ask your dentist what he/she recommends. Maybe you have started consuming coffee or smoking? These can cause yellowing.
