I am losing my teeth. I can feel my gums in the back. Is getting your jaw wired a viable treatment for grinding? Who would do this for me?

I am desperate. I don't want to take medicine. I have taken them and they make me gain weight and feel drugged up. Please help me.

i have been to several dentists mostly because i move around a lot.

i keep mentioning how i believe i am losing my teeth. they used to be very large. now they are nubs, particularly my molars in the back. my last teeth on the bottom jaw, i can actually feel my gum.

i grind my teeth. i have a mouth guard.

something is happening to my teeth to make them disappear. i have mentioned this to the dentists and they tell me nonsense. and that my teeth do not look like some people's teeth (those who have aids, on drugs, or in poverty).

but i sincerely know i am losing my teeth.

what can i do? i need someone to help me. i feel like my concerns are being blown off.

i dont want to lose my teeth.

is there any kind of specialist i can go to by myself? i dont want to go to a cosmetic surgeon because im afraid to get ripped off and also to have my teeth made worse.

it reminds me of a time i had a cavity. i was told i didnt have a cavity. then it got a lot worse.

thanks for any help.

I'd an upper front tooth crowned more than 10 years ago. Recently, I brushed my teeth very thoroughly / vigorously and I can feel the gumline (using my tongue). I also felt some sticky feelings around the front teeth area including the inside lip of the mouth (but found nothing physical) thus feeling a little dry on the area soon after brushing my teeth. I can't see anything physically wrong from the outstide. Could it be from the crown? Is there any problem on my crown?? How can I tell if the crowned tooth or crown is still in good shape and condition? How long can a crown stay? Will a crown deteriorates or comes off due to wear and tear? It's worrying me.

Can anyone please advise??? Thank you

In November my husband went in for a wisdom tooth extraction. The estimate they gave us was 150.00 but because it was "a very deep extraction" they charged us 400.00. We just paid it and dealt with it. After about 10 times to them to see why the hole was not clearing up(no charge) they tell us it will close up soon. My husband had felt lousy and weak everyday since the day he got it extracted. We call the dentist Monday and ask them if they can see him again because he is feeling awful and has since the extraction. They say yes and tell us there is no charge. After we get done they try to charge us 135.00. We say they told us it was free and they say "well you cant always beileve the receptionist and we will just get it taken care of and bill you. We get a bill today for 65.00 saying that we owe it because what they did to him had nothing to do with the extraction. I am really mad that they have ripped us off and to make it worse-we jsut paid 200.00 today in blood tests to see if

My son has lost 6 teeth in the last few months, 2 of them this week alone!!! Is this normal? I see where one that came out a week or so ago is already having an adult tooth come in, but right now, he only has 2 of his 8 front teeth completely there. Those 2 are permanent teeth. Another permanent tooth is about half way in. He eats a fairly balanced diet when he's not being mr. picky. He gets loads of vitamins C though, he loves oranges and gets juice and a multivitamin everyday. I can't think of what could be wrong, if anything. Can someone please help to ease my mind, or let me know what to do?

I dont like the look of my teeth and I was wondering if it is a good idea to get them all capped. Not all my teeth are messed up but i thought it would be better to get them all capped? So should i do it? also. one of my top teeth all the way in the front overlaps the one next to it a bit so do you think i should do it. im not thinking about doing it for maybe another 2 years or so, if ever. thanks

Due to an auto accident when I was a teen, I lost 7 teeth on the top. Now I am in the process of getting the rest of the top teeth pulled. I'd like to keep to a good diet, but limited to mostly liquids, I don't want to overboard on icecream and pudding! Any suggestions?

I am scheduled to have 3 teeth extracted and am afraid of general anesthesia due to diabetes, asthma and high blood pressure. Have opted for nitrous oxide, instead. What are the risks and will I feel pain during the extractions?

I had a bottom tooth pulled out about 6-8 months ago.The tooth was loose and the dentist said it was because it was losing bone, and he had to pull it out. The tooth was somewhat in the back, but you can see clearly that i'm missing it when I smile or laugh. I've heard dental implants work with the bone, so I don't know if I can actually receive one, also keep in mind that my tooth had been pulled out some time ago. I have another option of a bridge. But I heard that a root canal needs to be performed on both the tooth in front and in back of the missing tooth... both of those teeth are in perfect condition with no work done on them whatsoever, i don't want to mess them up. And then there's the option of a denture, but my uncle (who's a dentist) said that there's a visible metal clasps that grips on to the tooth in front of it. Whatever happened to the dentures that you glue on? Or do those not work for one tooth? Are theer any other option? Please help. I feel so insecure about this!

My 10 year old has a history of sinus trouble. She had braces applied this week. The next day she came down with a major respiratory illness. The doctor said sinusitis. She has been miserable all week. The braces pain etc. and then stuffy runny nose with sneezing etc.

Is there a connection between the braces application and the ailment?

My teeth aren't that bad looking, but I do have a couple of cross-bites on the right side of my mouth that are getting worse. Let me know if there is unbearable pain, what habits I should develop, and how often I should have cleanings done. Thanks!!!
