We understand there are various reasons that people aren't able to come in for dental treatment. You may not be as "bad" as you think you are, if you floss and brush daily you should be fine. Your first appointment will be for a cleaning, x rays and an exam to determine if there are any problems. It's at this time that you can ask questions about your dental care and any problems that you may have experienced. I hope you'll be in to see a dentist soon so that you can learn how to maintain a healthy beautiful smile throughout your life. Good luck!

After you get in all your primary teeth-baby teeth, you should go for a cleaning and check-up every 6mo. A cleaning is important for a variety of reasons. The build up on your teeth is called plaque it can harden and become tartar. SInce you are 13 I'm sure you have this deposit. It is important for the hygienist or dentist to remove this. You also need a through exam to check for cavities. Your dentist will tell you if there is a need for orthodontic treatment-braces. But first you should be seen by a general dentist/family dentist. If money is an issue check into a dental school or hygiene school they often offer dental treatment for reduced fees. Hope this helps-get the care for your teeth it's important!

yes, it was really bad, you should be going to the dentist every six months even though you dont have dental problems at all, others say that when the dentist said that you should have a braces or other treatments, they r just doing it for the money, it is wrong because you should trust them, they are the one who knows what it is the best for your teeth, better find a trustworthy dentist right now before its too late... gudluck!

Well you should at least go twice a yr. for cleanings. Hope you dont have any cavities. If you dont plan on going and you're not doing this, make sure you are brushing at least twice a day and flossing.

Yes dear, you should go for regular checkups. You may be genetically blessed but it is best to have regular cleanings and examinations. Good luck and don't forget to brush and floss everyday!!!
