dental schools vary in their requirements, however the basic curriculum is: 2 years of biology, 2 years of chemistry (general and organic), 1 year of physics (all science courses with labs), 1 year of english/literature, courses in anthropology, psychology, stats, or any other non-science courses that would make your education a bit more rounded. taking a foreign language course also is helpful.
you don't need physics to take the DATs but you need it for dental school. you also would need to get involved in internships or shadowing that would help demonstrate your interest in the profession and help you ultimately decide whether you want to spend the rest of your life doing dental work. it also helps you explore different aspects of dentistry (oral surgery, periodontics, pediatric dentistry, etc).
good luck!!

TO BE SPECIFIC ASK A DENTAL SCHOOL ADMITTANCE COUNSELOR. IN HIGH SCHOOL I STUDIED ALL THE SCIENCE COURSES THEY OFFERED, AND IN COLLEGE IN TOOK THE PRE-DENTAL CURRICULUM.
