I dont like the look of my teeth and I was wondering if it is a good idea to get them all capped. Not all my teeth are messed up but i thought it would be better to get them all capped? So should i do it? also. one of my top teeth all the way in the front overlaps the one next to it a bit so do you think i should do it. im not thinking about doing it for maybe another 2 years or so, if ever. thanks

Go to a good dentist who takes pride in his work and ask him his opinion. Some may have to be capped. If not, maybe just a good cleaning will improve the look. As for the overlapping tooth, if it is not too drastic, you might want to keep a little bit of the look so your teeth aren't so perfect they look false.
I have more crowns than my own teeth. When I had to have the front teeth capped, I asked the dentist to make a little overlap so I would look more natural. He did and I'm happy.
One other thing - start saving. It is expensive.

I think a front tooth that slightly overlaps is sexy. Don't get them all capped unless you are a complete snaggle tooth. Capped teeth sometimes have that THICK look and a too opaque color. Get them whitened and even straightened or shape filed if necessary, but dont do the caps. If you want to get rid of the overlapping tooth it would take only an expander on the roof of your mouth instead of a full set of braces. Ask an orthodontist.

It happens. My daughter, born with a cleft lip/palate, had a the teeth capped at age 2. She had slightly one root canal. She has a pair of fillings. teenagers born with cleft lip/palate have weaker the teeth on their the teeth. to those who've the strategies-set of "the place have been mom and pa with the toothbrush"... please undergo in strategies that there are some situations wherein each and all of the brushing interior the worldwide can no longer help til later. i'm diligent in brushing my youngster's the teeth. I would go with all platinum with kite shape diamonds for your fangs. This will draw the attention away from your crooked horse bit and to your new mouth jewelry. Now you would officially be ghetto pimped!!! Good luck with that.

Go to a reconstruction dentist. He can probably
come up with less drastic things to do to get
better effect.
