My hygienist didn't seem too crazy about it when we asked about it. I think it will help keep my teeth clean. So do you think I should get one?

Recently, I've noticed my gums have been bleeding and are swollen. I was given antibiotics for a sinus infection which I've had for quite awhile (I though that it was an allergy since I suffer from them all year long) and it seems that now my gums are back to normal. Now there's no bleeding, irritation or redness. Could the antibiotics have killed a gum infection?

Well this is kind of weird but I was born and never have had enamal on my teeth and they rot easy I have had almost every tooth capped filled or something to that effect and i'm only 20. I recently moved to texas and my job does not offer dental insurance i only make 5.50 an hour and cant afford to just go now ive got a tooth that is broke to the point you can see the root and is very painful and another tooth that doing the same and my front tooth has broke. Then to top it off now the area around the broken teeth is swollen and my entire face is swollen and it is extremely painful to the point of tears to eat smile or even talk. Any one have a clue where to go to get free or cheep dental work or a place to get insurance that is really cheep or for extremely low income? and what is causing the swelling so bad?

I got my wisdom teeth removed last friday and the healing is going fine but i noticed the way that the doc stitched up my mouth, it leaves little like pockets in the back. Then last night when i was eating a piece of food (i think a piece of shredded cheese) got stuck in one of the pockets. The doctor didnt foresee this so i dont know if its normal. I tried brushing a little and got some out and mouthwashed it but i cant get all of it out and i dont want it to start growing something back there or start to rot.

I'd a soft lump in between the upper tooth and gum since about 2 weeks ago. I thought it will go off soon, but it is still there although it is painless. What is this?? There's a small hole (cavity) in the tooth near the gum. Is it due to the bad tooth. Some said rubbing salt on it will help to eliminate the soft lump. Will it work?? Shall I wait or ignore it or do I have to get the tooth extracted? Will the soft lump disappear after the tooth is extracted?? Do I have any other options beside getting the tooth extracted, as preferably I do not wish to lose that tooth. Urgent! as it's already been abt 2 wks.

Can anyone help? Thank you

Hey.
I'm an 18 year old who is EXTREMELY terrified of going to the doctor and the dentist and everything like that. ESPECIALLY needles.
Anyway, I have four wisdom teeth coming out sometime soon, and I'm very afraid. My dentist will not give me sleeping gas, which is a problem, because I don't think anyone would like to lay down for hours watching their teeth being pulled out and their gums being sewn up.
(Is it true that they stick and IV in you?.. ew..)
I was thinking about just letting them grow in, but i have absolutely NO MORE ROOM in my mouth for extra teeth. My teeth aren't very straight right now, so they'd be even worse.
(That reminds me.. does anyone know if I'd be able to get braces if I didn't get my wisdom teeth pulled?)
I just want to know about everyone's experiences when they got their wisdom teeth pulled out, and what you think I should do.
Thanks so much!!

it just feels weird/funny. I am aware of it all the time. It started about 1 or 2 days ago. I realize this isn`t much to go on but there isn`t really any other way to describe it.Any ideas what it might be?
Should it just go away in a couple days?
