My hygienist didn't seem too crazy about it when we asked about it. I think it will help keep my teeth clean. So do you think I should get one?

Sure, why not get them as clean as you can. I have a Sonicare toothbrush and love it. Since I started using it years ago I have had no cavaties or teeth/gum issues. My sis is a dental hygenist and said it was a great product. Maybe think of that too - you can get them on sale at a lot of places. I also used those things that look like pipe cleaners to get inbetween the wire and my teeth, like flossing but a little easier. Good luck!! My teeth moved after years and I am getting Invisalign now. Make sure you get a permanent retainer when you are finished so they don't move like mine!

I think a waterpik would probably penefit you greatly. My dentist swears by them and throws a bit of a fit when his patients don't use them. They not only help to keep your teeth clean but they help to keep your gums healthy.

yes, i would if i were you. i bought one when i had my braces and i was glad i did. not only does it clean all the gunk between your teeth (along with brushing) but it cleans really well along your gum line and gets those brackets clean as well. i loved mine.

Its not necessary, they make little cone shaped brushes that are for getting in the small areas.
