rinse with hydrogen peroxide -do not swallow!
don't eat or drink anything acidic until they are healed. this includes peppers, oranges, strawberries, mangoes, soda, etc. stick to bland foods and drink alot of water.
they are often caused by a viral infected or poor dental care.

I used to get regular mouth ulcers - sometimes up to 30 in one go. I was diagnosed with a low iron deficiency and given tablets that did not help. At the age of 37 I was forced to have my tonsils out and guess what - not one ulcer in 5 years (touch wood). Do you suffer with tonsillitis or sore throats - if so I'd get this checked out.

L-lysine will definitely help...take 2 a day at least (it is an amino acid and natural) and also swishing liquid acidophilus around in your mouth will help.
When you are well, make sure you take a good multivitamin, get enough sleep, eat right, stay away from partying as much as you can and relax... the virus will never go away, you will get the mouth sores off and on now but you can keep them at bay with good health and a stress reduced life.

I used to get them a lot-- when I did sometimes I had a hard time even falling asleep. I started putting orajel and other types of toothache medicines on them. also I started taking L lysine every day and it has helped tremendously on how often(which now is seldom) that I get them. You can get that at any drug store or vitamin type store.

I would go to the Doctors. Are you sure they aren't a disease like psyphylis? Not to be mean or anything, just trying to be helpful. Im not saying it is, but you might want to get it checked out. I knew a person who got it and thought it was a mouth alcer, but I don;t know what the difference is.

You could try an old home remedy of putting ALUM( ammonium) on them (its a pickling spice to make pickels crisp) It dosent taste very good though I'll warn you on that up front.. makes em go away faster too depending on what type and the cause..

Try Savacol (you can get it from the Chemist- over the counter) it will help the infection and it also has an antiseptic agent in it that will relive the pain.
My husband suffers with them and he swears by Savacol
Feel for you - hope you get better soon.
