I have a lot of teeth that are rotting. I have been avoiding going to the dentist, although I know I need to. (Please do not tell me to go to the dentist) I am going to the dentist soon, but want to know what my options are before I go and the dentist tries to convince me to do something about it right then and there. I am only 25 and don't want most of my teeth removed! I know the damage root canals can cause. What else can I do and would those options be more expensive than a root canal or extraction? If you can give some advice, especially websites, I'd greatly appreciate it. Please no sarcastic remarks. Thanks.

i am going to have to get oral surgery to fix an open bite and my orthodontist said that i'll have to get braces BACK on to do the surgery. he didn't really explain why and i'm confused. why on earth would you have to get braces to get jaw surgery. especialy cause i've already had braces and my teeth are perfectly straight already. he said they'd have to be on for about 6 months after the surgery. does anyone know anything about this?

Trident White gum claims to whiten teeth; if fact, they say it has been proven. I was wondering what kind of stuff they have in the gum...Does the gum only whiten the parts of the teeth that it comes into contact with? Will the bottom parts of the teeth be whiter than the tops?

my teeth is not straight and i am planning to get braces. i am wondering how dentists take off the teeth, since the teeth stick into your jaw so strong.

P.S. I know dentist will give u a shot b4 taking off the teeth so that u feel numb. however...do u really feel nothing? what does it feel like?

Over-brushing often caused tooth to become sensitive and translucent. Bushing too little end up not clean. What to do?
Which should comes first, brushing before breakfast, or breakfast before brushing? Brushing - breakfast - brushing will make teeth sensitive sooner or later.
Can anyone please give your advice. Thank you

I went to a clinic that was on a sliding fee seemed great in the beginning exrays exam ect. The my first visit was a month away and it was not to fix my broken tooth. They pulled a tooth I am sure could have been saved. When I left the appointment The computer was down and I have heard nothing since. I am not complaining about this as I do not want this kind of dentistry. I want my teeth. The dentist was unprofessional and quit mean. No insurance means no saving your teeth he said. I am resourced out and its getting worse . My sister and I had a cleaning business we worked for two years and at the same time I broke my tooth she lost her car so we now are out our business we worked at so hard and put all resources into for the last two years. I feel in dire straights with my life . Please help me with giving me some advise on what you would do . Thanks

I don't have full dentures, just a couple of fake teeth hooked into my braces (to fill gaps). I got sick the very next morning after having them put in. (sneezing, runny nose, etc.) Could I be allergic to my new teeth?! well thanks!
