Not just your head, but your whole body is affected. Many problems arise from tooth infections and diseases such as ulcers, ear infections, sinusitus, and eye problems. There are also studies that are being conducted that show that an infection of the teeth and/or neglection to brush is related to heart problems, though this is yet to be fully proven. As there are many things you can do to help yourself, the best thing to do is to consult a dentist for advice and to mention the eye soreness that you have gotten. If reccomended, see a doctor. I hope that your infection and eye blurring is not connected. Best of luck.

I had really bad teeth once. I finally broke down and got them all pulled and got dentures. I was only 35. I had been sick with one thing or another for a very long time. Since getting my teeth pulled, though I still get sick, I'm not always sick like I was. It does seem, indeed that everything is connected. I used to have ear infections 10 months out of the year and sinus problems and all that. I'd go see someone asap!

You have not mentioned which tooth is infected but usually it is the big upper teeth(upper molars) which may have such an effect. I have not seen anyone having their vision affected by tooth infection but it is possible especially if it has an abscess(swollen).
You will need a dentist to see you and they may prescribe some antibiotics. Then they will refer you to an Ophthalmologist if it is necessary doing so.

here is info showing a correlation with sinus and dental, the connection is the same with vision. as you can see on the illustrations, the teeth and eyes/nose are quite connected.

sinusitis Inflammation of the sinuses, due to an infection or an allergic reaction. Probably the most common cause of pain in and around the eye. Symptoms include head pain (headache, pain around the eyes, toothache, jaw pain), nasal discharge, postnasal drip, coughing, eyelid swelling, swelling around the eyes, a stuffy nose, fatigue, bad breath and a sore throat.

An infected tooth can cause you many health problems. It is possible the tooth has abscessed and gone into the nerves.
Your best bet until you see a dentist is to gargle with warm salt water.

Certainly. Report to your A&E department at your local hospital.

I was lucky a short time ago that my tooth infection was curbed before it reached my eye. Long term eye damage is possible.

Sorry if I seem over-dramatic but I regard my sight as my most important sense.
