I don't have full dentures, just a couple of fake teeth hooked into my braces (to fill gaps). I got sick the very next morning after having them put in. (sneezing, runny nose, etc.) Could I be allergic to my new teeth?! well thanks!

There are more likely causes, but it is not impossible to be allergic to the plastics used in the denture.

The USUAL reaction, though, is a redness and itching or burning of the tissues that the denture is in contact with. I'd suspect something coincidentally going on at the same time, unrelated to the denture.

can arcylic dentures cause pain in stomach and in joints, have been tested and all my test come back neg. and since I had these dentures which in the last year 2 both of them have worn down and I am going back today to see what he can do,and my pain is getting worse. The cost is very high for this is the second dentist that promised there would be no pain on the gums yet there has been, and in my body.

You probably just had a draft or something in your room last night. An allergic reaction to a fake tooth would cause irritation, swelling, and/or redness in the area that the tooth is. But allergies to plastics has got to be super rare.

Not likely.... Probably just up a little dust that caused the reaction... All products used are mostly not allergenic

DR. SAM IS COMPLETELY CORRECT. THE SYMPTOMS YOU DESCRIBE DO NOT COINCIDE WITH WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THERE IS AN ALLERGY TO A FALSE PLASTIC TOOTH PLACED IN THE BRACES.
MOST LIKELY IT COINCIDES WITH A COMMON RHINO-VIRUS = A COLD.

It seems more likely to me that you picked up some virus or bacteria from the person who put them in for you.
