I know that some dental schools offer this service, but usually an application is needed and then a long wait. I have helped her some but her dentist said this could be 1500.00 or more. What do people do when in pain and cant qualify for assistance and cant work because of illness? thanks

I had to have a partial made for my bottom 4 front teeth. (I have severe tooth-grinding). I got the partial recently and it finally fits well, and looks very natural. My question is....I haven't kissed anyone since I got it. Do I leave it in or take it out? I am serious as I ask this cuz I don't want to cause embarrasment to anyone. Thanks in advance.

My teeth are in poor condition. The two front top teeth I have are about cut in half fixed with basically veneer but only like half the tooth not the whole front so you can see where the line is alot.. Also i have two baby teeth on the bottom that are so bad they will someday fall out because the root is going to get weak.. I go to the dentist ALOT to keep my mouth healthy.. I have fillings in almost all my teeth.. They say soda pop is the main reason for my problems.. Not so sure if this is true considering my parents both have bad teeth also... Anyway what can i do. I want them whitened and i want at least the front two fixed? Will this cost a mint or where can i go to have something done with minimal costs?

Do infant tooth and gum brushes along with the toothpaste need to be approved by the American Dental Association? I am afraid that there might be additives in the toothpaste that might do more harm than good. And does anyone know of a brand that might be approved by the ADA?

I recently went to the dentist because my filling came out of my upper wisdom tooth and started to rub on my cheek causing a painful blister in the back of my mouth. He said that this can cause mouth cancer if not treated. He suggested that I get my wisdow teeth pulled out but I dont feel any pain from them. Is he just trying to make money or being serious?

I would like to know some of your experiences with getting dentures. I am 31, having 20 extractions, getting full set on top and partial on bottom. I will be getting an immediate TEMP set of dentures/partial that same day. Everyone I have talked to says the pain level will be no more than a normal extraction but I beg to differ. Can you offer your experiences??

Ok some do, but my teeth are ok but i have a slight gap in the front teeth and to be honest id be lost without it, i can't imgen what id look like with perfect veenered teeth.

i think everybody needs something that defines their face features, all teeth the same size/all in line just don't look right man IMO.

your opinions?
