I am 8 months pregnant and am "teething" with one of my bottom wisdom teeth. My mouth has hurt now for almost 5 days and since being pregnant I cant do anything more for the pain than use orajel, tylenol and ice packs, which of course are barely even dulling the pain. Does anyone have any other pain relief methods other than drugs?? And does anyone know how many days my mouth will hurt like this?? I am starting to get mean because I cant stand being in pain anymore not to mention not being able to sleep because of the pain!

okay, so i drink coffee daily and smoke cigarettes occasionally...and i have started to use the crest whitening rinse, i plan on using it once in the morning and once at night like the directions say, so my question is: for those of you who also used it twice daily like reccommended, how did it work for you, and how long did it take for you to see big differences in how white your teeth were/are....did it change many shades?

I had a root canal and porcelin crown placed on my molar tooth about 7 years ago. Out of the blue, litterally a change overnight, a small black hole has appeared on the bite surface. I have good oral hygiene and naturally very white teeth. What's going on here... Is this normal?

3 dental xrays have revealed nothing that can explain the pain I am in, and have been since around Halloween. It seems to be in my jaw, but the pain radiates so severely I don't know if it's coming from upper or lower teeth. I still have my wisdom teeth, and they are a little impacted, but the dentist doesn't think it's all that bad. Every night I am awakened and kept awake for hours by waves of excruitiating pain that is completely resistant to painkillers. I have taken vicodin, codeine, advil, tylenol, aspirin, excedrin and aleve by the handful, and they don't even work for an hour. Has anyone had this happen? What did you do about it? I am considering suicide.

who would i get in touch with to complain to about the dentures my mom got. she has had nothing but problems since she got these in october of 06, also she has been told by dr. gilcrease that her temporary ones are actually her permanent ones. they are way to big for her mouth and they have already broke several times. she can't eat , she has sores all over her mouth. what course of action should she take?

I have a tooth that back in October 2006 the dentist found that I had a cavity;well He scheduled me for a filling,I came in and He filled my tooth;well the filling fell out and I had to go to the dentist for a refilling.Well after He refilled it,that came out.I actually waited till thanksgiving and Christmas passed before going back again. So 2007 came and I went to the dentist once again to have it filled a third time;this was just a couple days ago on the third time.
I'm getting tht feeling again that the filling once again fell out.Im gonna go to the dentist four a fourth time to have it filled;but my question is,is there anything else the dentist can do besides just keep filling it?Can he put a cap on it that wont fall off or something?Cause this is really getting annoying to have the fillings keep falling out.

Any help or suggestions would be appriciated. Thanx!

My jaw/mouth has been hurting for about a week now. It hurts in a certain spot whenever I open my mouth. Its almost like the pain I had before I had my wisdom teeth taken out. Any ideas what might be causing this?
