Ok some do, but my teeth are ok but i have a slight gap in the front teeth and to be honest id be lost without it, i can't imgen what id look like with perfect veenered teeth.
i think everybody needs something that defines their face features, all teeth the same size/all in line just don't look right man IMO.
your opinions?

Veneers done well should look just like your other teeth, very natural. If you have any doubts, it may be worthwhile to see the actual befores and afters for two or more dentists, to check out their work. (Ask to see all different kinds of results, even results that the dentist may not have been so proud of.)
As well as checking out the work of the dentist, when you view the before and after photos, you can also judge one more time for yourself -- do these folks look better to you -- with or without.
If you do get the veneers and don't like them, you can always do something to put the gap back in, I should imagine.
Personally, I think a gap looks great --- especially on younger adults. Tends to look less good as years go by, to be honest. IMHO, makes older people look even older.

Actually the world or at least the US is obsessed with perfect teeth. Especially blinding white ceramic toilet bowl white. I have implants that are quite nice but didn't choose a bleaching shade but the whitest natural white shade I could without looking like a neon light.
But no matter who does your dental work if they are not skilled it shows.Often you pay for what you get. If you shop around the for the best price then it often reflects this.

i find them intimidating.
not because of how good that person looks with them in, but when you talk to somebody that have veneers you can't stop stairing at their teeth instead of making eye contact.

totally agree mate. Most Americans have them and they just look soooooo false.
You cant beat a face thats lived in!
Personally the idillic pretty good looking face to me makes me cold.. It also tells me that they have no personality

Yep, I agree. It's the little imperfections that make the attraction. But then that's the same with everything......

I always think that people with veneers look as if they have black lines around them.... not sure why, but they just look plain wrong and dirty to me... imho
