I had to have a partial made for my bottom 4 front teeth. (I have severe tooth-grinding). I got the partial recently and it finally fits well, and looks very natural. My question is....I haven't kissed anyone since I got it. Do I leave it in or take it out? I am serious as I ask this cuz I don't want to cause embarrasment to anyone. Thanks in advance.

Oh, are you taking me back to my youth.

I have had a partial since junior high (mid 1960's). Have been married 20 years.

I leave it in. Never any complaints while dating. No complaints about kissing. Mine is a full bottom partial - goes all the way around.

My wife has never said anything about it (she also had one). About 3 months ago, she traded her partial in to get braces (at age 60, I'm 54 but NEVER mention the age difference).

If your partial fits and you are comfortable with it kiss away, and dont be shy, they are made for you to eat with so what a little kiss, there is no reason to have them made for you to feel better about yourself if you cannt enjoy all the benefits of looking better and feeling better

Leave it in, unless you are kissing your spouse or someone that you have been with for a long time. Then, do whatever is comfortable for both of you.
