I am going to the dentist pretty soon but i want to put my mind at ease. Now this may sound a little nasty but i do stress a lot, and i find that everytime i do i feel a little ball in between my upper jaw and cheek. It doesnt hurt but it does bother. Now when i try to feel it, it gets off and its white (gel type) its weird, but once i scratch it off its gone. Can someone help me but keeping my mind at ease. It happens maybe once a month.

About 3 years ago I was beginning to become affected by the damn wisdom teeth. They were causing pain for whatever reason and I had to have them taken out. It was the most uncomfortable experience of my life and I am glad its over.

I had 3 removed all with local anesthesia, but I have one left. On a xray it shows enough room to erupt and the dentists said I can wait on this one if I want. I'm not wanting to hear " oh you need to get them out right now otherwise..." I know all that already. All I want to know is there a chance that this last wisdom tooth can erupt late like say in my 40's or 50's im 27 yo.

I got braces in Sept & the orthodontist told me I needed them for 2 years. Now, I need to move this September, only a year into treatment. The only reason I would need to stay where I am is for this reason & it isn't enough to make me stay. I have a really great ortho & I think he would understand. Is this easy to do? I am so nervous moving in between treatment & changing doctors. Will the new ortho want to charge me another $4500?? Because the first one put the braces on the top & bottom & would have seen me for a year by the time the 2nd one sees me. Also, do you think the first ortho would want the remaining amount since it is based on seeing him monthly & I would not be seeing him anymore? As I said, this is the only thing worrying me about my move. I wish I had waited to get them put on where I was moving to but that didn't happen. Thanks for your help.

blurry and I couldn't see very well for awhile and it scared me. Just wondering if there would be any bad effects from this - I've never had that happen before. Luckily my eye returned to normal after a few minutes. Is that normal?

8 days ago I got my 3 (yes I only had 3) wisdom teeth removed. Most of the swelling went down on the side where I only had one removed, and was slowly followed by the swelling on the other side. Just as I was starting to eat soft foods (i.e. pancakes, toast, ect.) that only require minimal chewing, the swelling went back up on one side again like it was a week ago - over night! Is this normal? I've done the moist warm compress, and everything else pretty much as my oral surgeon said, what went wrong?

I just got braces a few days ago and I was just wondering what the chances are that the things like cemented on to my teeth will fall off. Everytime I brush I worry that they are going to come off or come lose. Also, if I brush my teeth really well and do everything my orthadontist told me do, how much time could I take off of my treatment time?

It started the other day when i was at school, i noticed my cheeks swelling a little and it was some what painful. By the end of the day it seemed to have gotten worse, so i took some Tylenol 3. After taking the medicine i felt nauseaus and threw up before i went to bed. The next morning i woke up and my cheeks were twice the size from the day before and hurt like hell. I then took another Tylenol 3 and felt nauseaus again, probably because i didnt eat anything. Felt nauseaus the whole day and couldnt eat at all. Throughout the day i started getting headaches. The swelling and pain haven't gotten worse but it also hasn't gotten better. i would go to the doctor but none are open on weekends. Does anyone know what it is? And if you do you know of anything that can ease the pain?
