I am going to the dentist pretty soon but i want to put my mind at ease. Now this may sound a little nasty but i do stress a lot, and i find that everytime i do i feel a little ball in between my upper jaw and cheek. It doesnt hurt but it does bother. Now when i try to feel it, it gets off and its white (gel type) its weird, but once i scratch it off its gone. Can someone help me but keeping my mind at ease. It happens maybe once a month.

It sounds like you are expressing some type of white, pus, or fluid from that little ball between the upper cheek and jaw. It sounds like a fistula has formed and when you touch it, the fluid excapes. Usually a fistula forms when an infection is present. It is the bodies way of draining, or releasing the pressure of the infection that's building at the root of your tooth. You really should go to your dentist for a through exam to determine exactly what type of problem exist. It could be nothing, and it could be something very serious. Hope I've been of some help. Good luck.

Sounds like an abcess...try rinsing your mouth with warm salt water several times a day until you can see your dentist. This may give you some relief.

stress lowers the immune system. probably some small infection. you're main problem is the stress. it's bad for more than your mouth! when you're done with teh dentist, see your dr for tips about stress and how to reduce it. i found yoga did wonders for me, expecially the breathing exercises.
