My brother was a dentist in the service Navy though and he went to different bases just like anyone else sometimes he put in for transfers and sometimes if they needed him in certain places they would transfer him. Depends on the need of the different bases really. Hope that helped.

They are called army docs and move around just like any other normal soldier would. They work on base and only take care of other soldiers and/or their families.

My friend is in the Air Force and stationed in Hawaii. She worked as a dental assistant at the base.
