It is very difficult for me to understand how possibly I can have lumps on the sides of my gums in between my bottom lip and my jaw bone that hurt and the same on the other side of that area and on the top of my mouth also. I have a temporary false plate that hurts to much to keep in because of the little protrusions that appeared about 3 days after surgery. No one told me about this complication and I've had such terrible luck with dentist that I am extremely worried and if anyone knows anything I would be so thankful if you emailed me. I had about $50,000 worth of work on my teeth and it was finished in 2000 only to find out that the dentist that I have no occlusion. How can my mouth hurt so much when there are not any teeth in there? I'm usualy pretty good with pain but this is like a constant ache and with Motrim 600 mg and Tylenol 3, I still have pain. Thank you for your help.

You see a female approx 35...never met before.....she opens her mouth, either to smile...yawn (not covering with hand)....eating.....or even talking..etc.
Just curious about what you thought after you unknowingly visualized the unexspected?

I've been reading the dental section for a few months now, and it seems most people assume Invisalign costs more - maybe double - what traditional braces cost. I've just attended a national meeting of Invisalign dentists and none of them charge more. Where does this idea come from? Are orthodontists charging more for Invisalign?
If you think the price is higher, where did you get your information?

I am very, very poor and have like $19 to my name. I have NO family with ANY money and no friends who will help me pay for a dentist. I have 4 teeth on the top left and 3 on the bottom left that hurt extremely bad right now. 400mg Ibuprofen is not working, Aleve is not working, I don't know what to do!!! I am in so much pain!! Anyone know of any agencies in Houston, Texas that can help me? I am a 22 year old female. I went to a few dentist offices here but no one will offer me any payments plans without having credit and I have no one that can co-sign. Should I go to the emergency room and make my credit worse but get some type of stronger pain reliver? I have 800 mg ibuprofen from when I had backaches but it made me really, really sick/suicidal feeling the last time I took it.

recedes, the teeth look longer and become more sensitive to too much root exposure. So, what is the wisest choice in the process of reducing gum pockets that are 5-8mm in depth?

eligble for invisalign braces. The invisalign website before and after photos all look pretty minor ( gaps, crowding,) . I have bit of a crossbite (its the only photo that looks similar to my situation only mine is a little more severe) at the bottom in which a tooth is somewhat behind the others. Also the website lists invisalign can be part of my tooth straigtening, so does that mean i can wear metal then switch to invisalign when possible. Any help is greatly appreciated

used as a corrosive detergent to get grease off mechanics floors and that it has an injuious effect on the enamel of teeth and enters the body through gum tissue and does further internal damage. Sounds like a nasty thing to have in ones toothpaste, not to mention shampoo, etc. What are your thoughts on this? I know it isn't necessary as I found a toothpaste without it.

I went to my dentist for my cleaning and had 2 fillings done. I woke up the next morning and my tonsils were inflammed with pus. Could the dentist visit have something to do with this? There are signs posted all over the office claiming that their instruments are sterilized.
