No, the overwhelming consensus is "NO!" So don't use your fingernail as floss. If you really are unable to afford dental floss, you might want to start ripping apart a few items of clothing and use thread. If you have thread about, use it and save the clothes.

thats bad for your fingernail and bad for your gums!
dun really need fancy floss.. u can make do with a bit of plastic .. i always use that if i dont have any floss.

No, we carry alot of germs underneath our nails and you could
be at risk for an infection especially to your gums if you do this.

I THINK A LOT OF PEOPLE DOES THIS, BUT IT CAN CAUSE GERMS. FINGERNAILS ARE NOT GOOD BEING IN CONTACT WITH THE GUMS.
