Offer them a breath mint. Take one for yourself and then offer them one too. If you have one too then they won't be offended by taking one.

Don't. You can't nicely say it. What if someone told you you had bad skin? It would offend you wouldnt it? Even if they were telling you so you could get help like recommending a face scrub. The best thing to do is offer then breath mints when you are close enough to smell their breath!

Well, first if it a true friend, telling them and stating you just want to tell that person, as you care. Then offer the person ideas, as if you smell it, others do too!

If not close, just have one of those best mints, like Altoids or BreathSavers (They have one that helps bad breath for 3 hour or more?) Then say it is something you use, as it helps YOU when your breath doesn't feel so FRESH!

I hope this helps, as Iknow how you feel! I told the person, and now I am marrying him! LOL! Hugs~

You can offer them some mint or chewing gum.You can suggest them to go for a prophylaxis a.k.a scaling as bad breath usually caused by dental plaque and tartar in the mouth.

You don't tell them they have bad breath, you can offer them a piece of gum or a mint.

You could say something like, "Man, I have a bad taste in my mouth, I've gotta get some gum (or mint). Would you like some?"

Well... tell them "gently" that they normally don't whatsoever! And all of a sudden their breath is a bit wicked. Maybe suggest that is was something they ate?

They may have no idea so it could be beneficial to them in the long run!!!

i think it would be more embarassing than offensive, but in either case, if it were me, i would want someone to tell me...who wants to go around with bad breath??? nobody that i know of...leave a note, a letter, something, but this person needs to know....
