Your jaw may feel stiff and sore but your dentist will prescribe pain meds for that. You will probably also have a special mouthwash and antibiotics. Any pain, swelling or stiffness is usually at its worst two or three days after the operation and then gradually improves.
Do not vigorously rinse your mouth out during the first 24 hours because this disturbs the blood clots that are part of the healing process. After meals, rinse gently with warm salt water (one teaspoon of table salt to a glass).
At first, it may be possible to feel small fragments of bone with your tongue. These are the edges of the tooth socket and will soon disappear as the gum heals.
Depending on the type of stitches used, they may need to be removed (arrangements will be made for this to be done). If dissolvable stitches have been used, they will disappear 7 to 10 days after the operation.
To begin with, you should eat soft foods, gradually returning to a normal diet once any jaw stiffness has settled. Very hot drinks and spicy food can increase pain and bleeding and should be avoided until the gum has healed.
Drinking alcohol and smoking should also be avoided as they can increase bleeding and delay healing.
Most people experience no problems following an operation to remove wisdom teeth. Your dentist will give you a list of the complications to watch for and what to do if they occur.
These sites should help you. Good luck with it.

If you are being put to sleep, you will remember very little or nothing. After the extraction, you may have some swelling, and the doctor can give you pain medication if he thinks you might need it. Remember not to suck on a straw afterwards, as this could cause the clot to be lost and result in a dry socket, which is painful. The doctor will tell you what you can eat, and any other restrictions. Most people get by with very little discomfort. The doctor will probably advise you to use ice packs to keep the swelling down. Good Luck.

My brother had all 4 pulled at once. The dentist put him to sleep for the procedure. Make sure that there is someone to pick you up & drive you home, you should not drive.
Everyone's pain threshold is different. My brother has a high tolerance for pain. When I picked him up the nurse said that he would probably be in pain, be out of work for 3 or 4 days, and then they gave me percadane (sp?) for the pain for him. I took him home, he slept a little bit, tried to each some chicken noodle soup (he should've skipped the noodles as he couldn't open his mouth too wide). After he ate, he gargled, went out partying with his friends and went to work the next day. The pain pills ended up in the garbage can.
He did fine. I'm sure you'll do fine too. Nothing to be nervous about, just make sure that if you work that you let your employer know you might not be in depending on how you feel, and make sure you have someone to drive you to the dentist and bring you home.
Good luck!

it's nothing to be nervous about. if you take good care of the surgury sites and follow the doctors instructions you'll be fine. they'll give you some pain killers for when you get home. if you do good pain management then it should be no problem.

Sorry :( The the enamel fairy won't come %. it up because of the fact this is too vast and heavy. The the enamel fairy can in user-friendly terms take small enamel because of the fact she is rather small and does not bypass to the wellness center.
