The cause of Back pain is excessive movement of the spine.

Other than muscle strain, what would cause constant lower back pain? For instance, could a bladder infection be the problem? I don’t seem to have any other symptoms of a bladder infection though. What else could it be do you think? Any help/info is appreciated.

1ST stress and scan test
Findings: subtle perfusion defect on stress imaging involving the mid to apical inferior wall which improves on rest imaging. there is subtle mild hypokinesis of the apical portion of the inferior wall. the remainder of the wall motion is within normal limits. ejection fraction is greater than 55%. no persistent pcrfusion defects to suggest old infarct or scar.

My husband and I were having a conversation yesterday and he was saying how when he gets older (he's 35) he is dreading having to go for a prostate examination. He was really whingeing about it and then I pointed out that I have been having periods since I was 13, I have given birth 3 times, I have to go for a smear test every 3 years and when I'M older I will have to go for a mammogram too. One little test he has to have, can you believe he is moaning about that ?

I have a horrible head cold, sneezing, congestion, eye itch and burn, watery and now it's moving to my chest. I've tried Tylenol cold, Tylenol Sinus, Alka Seltzer cold and Sudafed, they don't even put a dent in the pain and pressure. What's going on? Alka Seltzer cold partially works for about 20 min. then BAM! all the pain and pressure is back. I thought this stuff was supposed to help!! Suggestions for pain relief would be greatly appreciated. I am breastfeeding so my options are somewhat limited. I have been supplementing with formula and stored breastmilk while trying to find something that works!!

If you spend long periods of time in front of the computer or a book for example, does it give you or help to give you lens faults? I'm not talking about the radiation and stuff just whether it will cause you to need glasses.

I broke my ankle a week ago and was told by doctors to keep all my weight off it and keep it elevated. When its not elevated, like when I use crutches, the blood pressure builds and it becomes painful for a while. (There was surgery involved to fix it.) How long will this elevation go on for? Will I ever be able to put my foot down without it hurting? It's been a week, and it's not much better.

I need help....I have been taking Darvocets in large doses...even got prescriptions from different doctors to different pharmacies. I also have been taken whatever else i can get my hands on for pain. Without it I feel tired and achy all the time.
I have a chronic condition which they have no cure for and i am in a lot of pain often. But i am so worried that i am now just taking the darvocet to feel ok and not because i really hurt. Today I went to my doctor trying to get a refill, when they found out that i have been taken way more then I am suppose to. I felt so dirty, like some drug head.
I need help...how can i ween myself off? What do i do when i am in real pain? Please don't make fun of me....help

Ok I'm 5'3" 105 lbs 20 yrs old. I have lost almost 40 lbs since February. I workout in the morings (with Denise Austin- low impact). I consider this my wake up routine. In the afternoons I workout M,W,F cardio and T, Th strenght for about 30 min. I do cardio on Sat morning and rest on Sunday. I do get very upset if I have to skip a workout. Do you think this is excessive. I have not had my period since September of this year and am not pregnant. I eat around 1700 calories a day but during Feb-April was very sick and did not eat much (gall bladder removed) and the I restricted my calories a lot through the summer but have been eating what I think is enough and healthy for a while now. Do you think I am still not eating enough and exercising to much so this is why I am not having a period?? I also quit taking Birth control pills in September so that could cause a delay as well I guess! I'm just so CONFUSED!

I currently feel like my front teeth are going to fall out. Antibiotics are reducing this infection but this visit to the dentist caused them to recommend redoing my 35 year old root canal. At this very same time I have a nastier than normal sinus infection? So, are they connected?

My girlfriend was twice sick on sunday and has had a delicate stomach since then.

She has not thrown up since sunday but has felt nautious all week and not felt very hungry.

What is the best things to eat for her upset stomach. Obviously I know she should drink lots of fluids but what sort? water? soup? fruit juice?

and what are the best foods. Im guessing dry foods like rice and toast.

is this right?

Ok here it goes, How can I get over the fear of needles poking my veins? Ok I am a really proud young man (18), but for some reason I have been afraid of needles poking my veins. And I need to go to the doctor, but they always take blood away from me. Last time I passed out. I mean I can take a shot on my *** or arm, but when it comes to the veins in my arm (opposite of elbow) I get nervous and freaked out. What should I do? I fear for my veins. I am really white almost see threw that my veins can be seen from far away (which is cool), but I dont want someone poking them atleast not the ones in my arms. When I was younger I did not have this problem.

This is ruenning my life and health. I am such a proud young man.
I am not afraid of anything else. I dont even fear death. I am afraid of no human nor animal nor creature.

I have a history of hypothyroid but my blood levels are hyperthyroid for my tsh. I have gained 15 pounds since July, I am extremely tired all the time, my hair is thin & falling out. If my tsh is very low why am I not losing weight which would be normal for hyperthyroid? Could something else be making me have a false tsh reading, or possibly an adrenal gland problem? Help, I feel miserable.

...because I have heard stories about a glove "tearing" and infectious fluids came in contact with a cut or scrape leaving the caregiver infected. I am a nursing assistant with a family and I don't think I could ever forgive myself if I somehow contracted AIDS. I am working on another career choice that would put me doing more paper work, less patient care. Any suggestions on how I can maybe change my thinking on this?
