Health - 13 December 2007

I was supposed to start my cycle around December 2nd, however for 2 weeks prior to that date I had a really bad case of strep throat along with a really bad cold. Since my last cycle on Nov 2nd, I have only had sex twice and both times there was use of a condom. Condom did not break at all. It is now December 13th and I personally don't think I am pregnant. Just wondering if a really bad two weeks of the winter's bug can delay it.

Here's the deal. All of my grandparents have diabetes, most of my aunts and uncles have it, some of my cousins have it. Type 1 and Type 2. Neither of my parents have diabetes yet.

For the last month I have felt weird. I'm constantly thirsty no matter how much I drink I'm still thirtsy. I'm hungry all the time. I urinate more often then most. Sometimes my vision gets fuzzy, when that happens I get REALLY sleepy and just don't feel right. I've also started sweating at night while I'm asleep. I sweat so much that the sheets are soaked. I feel tired and run down all the time.

In the past when I've gotten fasting blood work done my sugars have been fine. (On the low side of normal.)

Did this happen to anyone who was diagnosed with diabetes? What were your signs/symptoms? Does this even sound like it could be diabetes?

Yes, I know only a doctor can tell me if it's diabetes or not. Just looking for insight and advice.

i noticed that i always get sick after i go to a paticular friends house. like sinus infections and sinus blockage and stuff. i dont get sick immediatley though...its like 2-3 days after i go. could i like be allergic to her? i dont have any other allergies that i know of

Can you train yourself to become a lighter sleeper? If so, then how? I have to use an alarm clock for the deaf that shakes the bed to wake up... How do I sleep lighter? I get plenty of sleep, but I can't ever hear anything at all when I sleep.

I have known so many ppl in the last few months that have this condition and now they diagnosed me with this. They have given me a round of triple antibiotics. IS there anything else I can do to be sure it doesnt come back. What causes this? I rarely eat meat, let alone unclean meats. ITs very rare that I would do that. If you know, help me out and I will spread the news. IT seems to be something that is getting diagnosed a lot nowadays.

I started passing out at a young age mostly only when a got shots (I'm 18 now) in fourth grade I passed out in school, they didnt know why I did, they said it was nervous. But in 9th grade it was Jan 13th and I remember leaving school early from a serve headache, that night my mom found me passed out in the bathroom. I wasnt doing anything at the time, i was just in the bathroom, i woke up from my mother yelling at my father telling him to call 911. that was all i remember, the doctors said i had a MIGHT of had a seizer, it MIGHT be stress, and it MIGHT be hormones, they ran tons of tests and didnt find anything. i have been pretty passing out free for a while now, except shots. But recently was the worst. I felt like i was going to throw up or i went to the bathroom, i didnt vomit instead had serve pain everywhere in my body, i couldnt think so i sit down. all i remember was looking at myself on the ground. apparently i walked downstairs and told my parents ...i dont remember.

I am 13 & I just moved from Dallas to Miami. I miss my friends and my family in Dallas so much that I have turned to Vicodin. It's so hard to quit because it's everywhere. I mean at school everybody's got it. I know I need to stop but I can't. It fills the emptiness of Dallas. I'll look at pics of home or talk to friends back home and I get so sad that I just go & pop a few Vicodin's. I think that my problem also is linked to the fact that the reason I had to move in the first place was that we were going bankrupt on our 6000 sq. ft. Million Dollar Home & my dad lost his job at the same time. So now were living in a tiny 2500sq. ft. home in Miami because my Dad got a job here. So it is very rough because not only did I lose my friends and family, I lost my house and my money at the same time. So pretty much Vicodin fills the pain and helps me through theday because when I think back to my old care free life I get sad and pop a Vicodin. What Should I Do????????????? Please Help Me!!!

I have had two miscarragies and with my first pregnancy the placenta detached, so my doc took some blood test and told me that some of my levels were abnormal and that my blood clots... have anyone ever heard of this ? And does this mean i would be like a high risk of maybe having a clot go to my heart or something? Also I am 10 weeks and so far so good with baby.. but having to take folic acid, vit b6 and b12 and one baby asprin a day

Ok so i kicked the walll yesturday (messing around). It is red with a little bit of bruise but hurts terrbily! it just keeps getting worse. Now it hurts when i walk on it sometimes. When i barely touch it, it sends a whole shock of pain through my leg. Also it hurts to bend my toes especailly my big toe.

My back has been hurting me on and off for a couple months, but lately it's mostly been on. It's a sharp pain in my upper right back, but near the spine. It hurts when I am trying to sleep and also when i sit up. I thought it was due to slouching so I have been trying to sit up straight but it hasn't made my back feel any better. Do you know what the problem might be?

What Mental Disorder Is This?
I am on antidepressants for moderate depression and severe anxiety, and they have helped somewhat, but not nearly completely. I have this thing where I think I am doing things that I'm not; like I'm flipping out at my desk or my nose is flaring, or I'm going out of control or some weird things. What is this????? Please help this is absolutely ridiculous.

Ok my life is in dissere ( not sure if that's the right spelling , or the meaning for that matter )

I am 25- I have no life. - My parents are to blame- But I just wanna survive now - Forget them !
I am sick and tired of my father who is an emotionally abusive a-hol@ , and my mom just goes along with it as if there is nothing wrong.

Now my brother . he's the biggest a-ho#e of all of them ,( Also an emotional blackmailer like my mom and dad ) Recently my dad tried to get mad at me for the simplest thing and then he chased after me with a knife scaring me . So i called the cops on him . They came and arrested him and found out the knife that he was holding.

This happened few months ago on september.The Court gave me an order of protection against him . Today I was talking to my mother after along time because I was in serious need for some money and she helped me in the morning. I took the help only because I felt like using her once for everything I went thru and
