HCG (the pregnancy hormone) can remain detectable in the bloodstream for several weeks after abortion or miscarriage. It's normal. Likewise, some bleeding is normal, even if you had stopped bleeding, though if you have:
Heavy bleeding (more than 1 pad per hour for more than two hours)
Clots larger than a quarter
Fever
Vomiting
Bad smelling discharge
You should get in touch with your clinic or doctor ASAP

They didn't get all of the pregnancy parts out of you with the abortion. You should go to your local ER, have an urasound to look for retained parts. They can also do bloodwork to see what your hcg levels are. If there's even a small piece of the placenta left, then your body will continue to kick out pregnancy hormones and you'll continue to test positive. Additionally, bleeding for 2 weeks is NOT normal. Really, go to the ER.

It sounds like the hormones are just still in your system. As long as you haven't had sex since your abortion then you know you aren't pregnant. You should call your doctor to confirm everything is ok though.

it is showing positive because while the fetus is gone, the hormones that are produced during pregnancy are still there and will be for another month or two.
