I would also have a chat with your female relatives (mom, sister or aunt), every woman's body is different including yours. They would give a better idea what to expect, since they have the same genes as you. :)

Well, just always keep an extra pad/tampon with you in case. Change your pads often to keep from leaking and don't keep a tampon in for more than 6 hours. Sometimes sleeping in the pads made for night helps prevent leaking on your clothes and sheets. If you experience cramps heating pads and Tylenol/Midol/Advil/etc. work wonders!
