I was supposed to start my cycle around December 2nd, however for 2 weeks prior to that date I had a really bad case of strep throat along with a really bad cold. Since my last cycle on Nov 2nd, I have only had sex twice and both times there was use of a condom. Condom did not break at all. It is now December 13th and I personally don't think I am pregnant. Just wondering if a really bad two weeks of the winter's bug can delay it.

Stress, illness, medication & loss of body weight can all affect your hormones changing your cycle.

If you had strep, it should have been treated with antibiotics, if it wasn't, then it wasn't strep. But yes, an illness of any kind can delay your period.

Anything being "out of whack" with your body can definitely cause your period to go temporarily irregular. If it continues, see a doctor.
