i had my wisdom teeth extracted on monday at 830 am, so techincally it has been 4 days of healing since i had my teeth out. i know they say to wait atleast a week but would it be okay if i smoked especially if i have gauze in?

The pain you have to go through if you get a dry socket or an infection is not worth the few minutes of pleasure from smoking. I would recommend not doing it even with gauze because the won't stop the negative pressure in your mouth while you suck on the cigarette.

Stop smoking.

You're health is going away and its making you're teeth worse.

If you smoke after having you're wisdom teeth taken out, it will probably become a dry socket which is bad.

IF A DRY SOCKET WILL FORM THIS WILL BE IN THE FIRST 24-36 HOURS AFTER EXTRACTION.
THE GAUZE IN PLACE WILL NOT HAVE ANY EFFECT AFTER 4 DAYS.

u shouldnt smoke period not only is it bad 4 you but also others and the enviroment
