I currently feel like my front teeth are going to fall out. Antibiotics are reducing this infection but this visit to the dentist caused them to recommend redoing my 35 year old root canal. At this very same time I have a nastier than normal sinus infection? So, are they connected?

They could be. I know I have had a lot of problems with my teeth/sinuses. Of course, I have freakishly long tooth roots that actually push into my sinuses. Each time I get a tooth pulled out, I have sinus problems. This past summer I actually had to get one of my past root canals redone. When the dentist did it the first time, he accidentally cracked off a piece of root deep inside, which caused a lot of pain when I bit down. And, of course, I also had a lot of sinus problems at the time.

They called it a root canal, but probably plan on a pulponomy, It is not that big of deal and not as expensive a a root canal., If you have it extracted she will be toothless there until 5 or 6, you need to decide weather you can live with the gap or the discoloration. My granddaughter has discoloration and it doesn't take anything from her appearance

I WOULD CONCUR WITH THE OPINION OF THE DENTIST.
DOES A CAR LAST 35 YEARS? WHY SHOULD A ROOT CANAL?
THE ROOT CANAL SYMPTOMS MAY NOT BE RELATED TO THE SINUS INFECTION BECAUSE THERE ARE NO NASAL SINUSES IN THIS EXACT LOCATION.
