most Gold's gyms are independently operated so the minimum age will vary. the only way to find out is to contact the ones in your area.

I belong to Gold's and Bally's. To sign a contract you have to be 18 but you can join under a family member until then and the "add on" rates for minors are fairly reasonable. If a parent is not willing to go with you, look for ndependently owned clubs aside from large chains that usually just make you sing a waiver and have the parents sign an acknowledgement that you are allowed to utelize the gym.

You have to be 18 for a contract to be legally binding.
