I often go out with my friend, and when she lifts up her arms, she has a really strong smell coming from her armpits.
She tries to use perfume or deodorant to cover up but she's trying to find a way to get rid of it for good. Any ideas how?

it is right in the center of my absabout 2 inches above my navel. It is not painful, i have a little bit of a gut.. and I do sit-ups regularly. I noticed this for the first time about a month ago... and it only shows up when laying straight back and when i go to sit straight up... and when it shows up it has a tent like appearance.

I have active adult chicken pox and have had this tingling for 3 days now since the blisters have shown up. I do NOT have shingles. I know shingles are more likely to cause tingling sensations, but do chicken pox as well? How long with the tingling last? Thank you.

a few days ago i went out to town with a few friends and i got a bad headache and my eyes felt squinty and achy and slightly blurd but not much, one of my friends [who wears glasses for distance] could see i was squinting and asked me to read out some signs at a distance, i only got two out of five correct, we then went to a park area and then he then asked me to put on his glasses and wear them for about 30 mins, my headache and eyeache had almost gone after a fer mins. after the 30mins he told me to read five more signs at a distance, and i got them all, i then gave his glasses back, as soon as i removed the glasses things were more blurd than before and took quite a while to go back to slightly blurd by that time my headache came back. he said i was short sighted and needed to go to the optitions,
could this be the start of short sight?
or could this just be eyestrain? because i am 22 and short sight mostly starts between the ages 11-20
i do use a computer and read a lot.

Is there away for someone to be truly senseless? Like not being able to feel things. My friend says he can't feel things or he just doesn't feel right within himself. He's felt like this since his childhood. It's almost all he ever thinks about everyone else just think he's weird but is there a possible way to be born without senses? I think its a deep and long depression.

ok, so here is my question. ..
i eat (usually) 800 calories a day. some days i go over to maybe 1100 calories (like twice a week).
i am 5 feet 2 inches tall. female, came down from 187 to 135 lbs. since last june...
no one knows this. not even my husband. ...
i eat all day long. 3 meals and 2 snacks. just limit my calorie intake.
i exercises too. it's starting to get intense. i do yoga, kick boxing, running, and go to the gym.
i don't want to increase my calories because it has giving me results.
but when ever i am asked what i am eating ... i always tell them that i am on an 1800 cal a day to avoid questions.
sometimes i feel dizzy, i'm glad that no one has noticed. i just stand still and smile it out. i'm cold too.
but my doc told me i was in great shape. i get compliments from everyone.
i'm smart... but somehow i worry that there might be a problem. sometimes it's hard to see the forest from the trees. do i have a problem? help.

I am 6 weeks pregnant. The other morning and I woke up and my left arm was hurting. I figured I had slept on it wrong. Last night the pain got worse and I had to take off my engagment ring because even my hand was swelling slightly. Could I have pulled a muscle in my sleep? What should I do about it? Tylenol barely eases the pain. Hot and cold compresses? Is there any other pain reliver that I can safely take while I'm pregnant that may help?

I've been eating healty, having a balacned diet and excersising alot.
But I've used many calorie calulators to find out how many calories I need and I've cut it so that to give me a 4 pound weight loss a week.
Im feeling fine and just as happy, and energetic as before.
I'm on my 3rd week now it ends sunday. I've lost 6 pounds so far. But I should of lost about 10 by now I've strictly followed my calroies and kept my metalbolism going 4-6 meals a day and I drink a glass of milk before bed.

I've been doing alot of walking and running about. Also i've been doing 15-30mins cardio workout . Also I've been doing crucnhes, press-ups and weight lifting.
Is it possible that 4 pounds could of turned into muscle on my body.
Thanks in advance
Johnny

By qualities, I mean pros/cons, health risks, side effects, etc. I'm trying to answer a friend's question, and I don't want to tell her something wrong. I found a big list on Wikipedia, but I really would like a more legit website.

Thanks everyone! (my friend appreciates it even more!)

ok so here is my story... for the past 3 months, my friends and myself noticed flakes (dandruff?) around my mouth.

i was told to put some cream on it and unfortunately i used dove cream which i discovered i was allergic to it when my mouth turned red hours later.

it's been two weeks now, and i've still got the redness and LOADS of flakes around my mouth.

i was told not to use vaseline because it'll only trap the germs and make things worse.

so i have 2 questions:
- Does aqueous cream do the same as vaseline?
- Should i use aqueous cream to help my rash?

please help :(

Thanks!

My sister in law contracted Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus and was treated with antibiotics. Is she still contagious? I am not trying to be a germophobe, but I have a 9 month old in the house and I've read all sorts of scary things about babies contracting Staph and it killing them within days. She was treated several months ago and the infection "went away" but I am still curious if she is a carrier.

The problems is very intermittent and hasn't caused enough of problem to go to the doc but nonetheless it's weird. For the past several weeks as I'm trying to fall asleep my right ear starts to feel warm and feels like it has a 'heart beat.' The 'heart beat' part is a little uncomfortable but then the warmth feeling takes over and provides relief every few seconds. At other times, particularly after I shower it feels like there is a little bit of qtip fuzz in there and I want to pull it out but there is nothing of the sort. Sometimes when I'm chewing I get a strange sensation as well, but more or less with my jaw than my ear. Does anyone have any clue what might be going on?

I'm curious what people think about HIV. It's funny how the US seems to want to make it look like HIV is spreading throughout the US and across the nation. There are books written by doctors stating that HIV is a HOAX. When the doctors believe that someone is HIV positive they automatically want to prescribe meds to them. Do you think this is because they want a commission from the prescriptions they write? I have known several people where the doctors say "YOU HAVE HIV" but they have refused to take meds and there fine. So why would this be? So what do you think? Do you think it's a crock?

Hi everybody. I have bipolar pretty severely, and it's always far worse in winter than in summer. I was wondering if going to a tanning bed would help at all? I'm pretty fair complected so I don't tan normally, even in summer I don't lay out. But I'm curious if light tanning maybe once a week would help with my depression?
Thanks!
