I have active adult chicken pox and have had this tingling for 3 days now since the blisters have shown up. I do NOT have shingles. I know shingles are more likely to cause tingling sensations, but do chicken pox as well? How long with the tingling last? Thank you.

Also, did your chicken pox actually hurt?

Adult chicken pox and shingles are the same thing - both are caused by Herpes zoster virus. Outbreaks are painful - sort of a burning pain. The symptoms usually last about 10 days.
