If I were to wear a tampon before you goes out. Just remember changing it more often. Take tampons or pads with you, before you goes out.
Have fun with your boy friend....

Well, have you thought about using a tampon? It's pretty easy just read and follow the instructions.. Just be sure to wash your hand throughly BEFORE/AFTER use... I would practice today inserting/pulling it out.. That way you won't be nervous...If you use a pad change it right before you go out on the date... Take a couple extra in your purse... Excuse yourself to the restroom BEFORE the movie and AFTER... Changing it often will keep any smells at bay... .Pads nowaday are so thin it's hard to tell you will be wearing one... good luck

Sweetie just change before you go to the movies and if you are heavy change when the movie is over. There is no need to stress about how to change your pad when on a date.
Edit: You say you don't carry purses but you might want to that night if you plan on changing your pad so you don't leak.

check your pad before the movie, if it needs changing change it (obviously) and you should be alright until the movie's finished, then just say you're going to the loo and change it after wards too, you don't need to worry about bringing a purse if you really don't want to, most public toilets will have a machine where you can buy pads so just take some change with you :-)

Wear a heavier pad with a skirt. No one will see it. Wear shorts under the skirt. The heavier pad will require less frequent trips to the bathroom. And if anyone asks why you're so dressed up, just tell them you wanted to look nice - or that nothing was clean. :)

use always pads, for heavy but ultra thin...bring an extra or 2. hopefully you wont need it, if you do, check your pad 5 mins before the movie starts and change it..you should be fine for the movie and just use the bathroom after the movie immediately..many people do this so it wont look weird.

Sooooo what is the problem??? You have a purse, don't you. You can carry extra supplies in there and after the movie, tell him you need to stop in the bathroom before you leave. What is so hard about that?

Use a tampon. They will absorb alot and that means fewer changes. They are compact and they can fit into your purse. If you are totally freaked then just tell him you are grounded and see if you can go the next weekend. : )

Get with your mom, grandma, aunt, sister, girlfriend, gf's big sister, older neighbor girl, and have them show you how - do it today. Normally, if you're so young you don't know how to do this, then your flow will be so light you'll be fine for the length of the movie.
