If you withdraw slowly by tapering you won't have withdrawal symtoms. If it is unavoidable, comfort care is all you have. Camomille tea can help with stomach discomfort and relaxing the muscles a little. Sublingual methylcobalamin (Jarrow or Enzymatic Therapy) along with b-complex can help sooth the nerves a bit.

Can you go for a good long swim? That will help you work out the cravings and the pain. Even splashing around will help, preferably in a heated pool. Try some chamomile tea as it will help you relax. It's just a matter of working through it, but you can pamper yourself--can you get a massage? That would be very helpful--try a massage school as they are cheaper. Good luck to you, and congrats on withdrawing!

I don't know how long you have taken it, but the worst should be over in 72 hours. I had this with oxycontin prescription and I was taking 20 mg twice daily for a year. It was hell for a few days, but I am so glad I don't take that stuff anymore. It was too addictive. If you are having serious withdrawal, go to ER otherwise try to sleep as much as you can and drink plenty of fluids.

Treat your body right with lots and lots of vitamins: Find a strong wide-spectrum mineral supplement with at least 100% RDA of Zinc, Phosphorus, Copper, Magnesium and Potassium (you may not find the potassium in the same supplement). Also, get some L-Tyrosine to give you a surge of physical and mental enegery to counteract the malaise of withdrawal. A hot bath or jacuzzi will help ease the muscle aches and pains. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids, and try to get some rest. Best of luck!
