A few months ago I posted about my lower back I wasn't sure at that time what was going on since then I had an X-ray to figure out what is going on-bad news, I have three degenerating disks with severe arthritus L2, L3, L5 this was a blow to me I was not exspecting to hear more then what I already knew, L5 disks was bad which I knew from 2006. I lean to the left and stand that way pretty much all the time hurt bad to, my left knee and heel hurt so bad from all the pressure which is adding to the pain I already have & if im not carefull how I pick something up, stand, sit or move I get a surge of pain that stops me dead in my tracks and have to grab the nearest thing to keep my self from laying flat out until it rolls over it really sucks, I was hopeing to go back to work this year but not in this condition, my parents say im heading for disability and should start the process but not sure how or where, taking Tramadol for pain but kills my mind its 10% of morphine. btw i'm 34 years old

I have taken "Midrin" for years, all of the sudden it was recalled and I haven't been able to find out why, the dr's don't know, the pharmacists doesn't know, can't find anything on the internet about it. Does anyone know anything about this. Am I going to suffer some kind of horrific side effect later or worse? This is scarey.

I have just gotten glasses to correct my slight 20/25 L and 20/75 R vision. Now, I'm just wondering if wearing my glasses for just when I cannot read the blackboard or if I should wear them more often. Which is more damaging to the eye? I really don't need glasses for most things, just reading faraway things such as text. Will my eyes adjust to the glasses and get worse over time?

Hi, I was at my OBGyn recently for a checkup and he took a urine sample to check for a bladder or urinary tract infection. A few days later I was told I had an E-Coli infection and was given a 10 day course of Bactrim antibiotics. (Im about 5 days in)

Any idea how one gets an E-Coli infection? My only thought is that I work for a major carrot processing company. Im in the sales office at a desk job but we are based in the main plant in a rural agricultural area. Sometimes I eat at the lunch cart that drives up daily. Could I be breathing it in or touching something that has the bacteria on it? I know we test all our product for E-Coli and in 10 months, I haven't seen 1 result above the accepted margin.
The nurse said that perhaps Im not wiping properly, front to back (tmi, i know sorry) but I know thats not it. I am trying to conceive though and I check my cervical mucus but that has nothing to do with my urinary or digestive tract.

Any ideas? I want to prevent future infection.

Yesterday I had alot of pain in my elbow and could not bend it or move it. I didn't fall or remember hurting it. I heard that if you sleep on your arm your body weight can dislocate one of the bones? Anyway I can't extend my elbow. Its swollen, and I'm in serious pain. I went to the ER and the doctor flexed my arm(not extended it) did a xray which looked weird to me but he said they were fine. he gave me some pain pills and sent me off. MY arm from the elbow down looks deformed and I can't move it or even write well. Does this even appear to be a dislocated elbow? And please don't tell me to go to the doctor...I already know that. I'm looking for an immediate response from maybe a doctor or nurse on here. Also please give me other things that might be wrong with it. My arm is shaped like a V and I can't even put my hand to my mouth to eat(my new diet plan lol!!!) please help me!!!!!!

I dated a guy for about a year and we broke up about 4 months ago. In this time we havent really talked but my friend who is still friends with him says he asks about me all the time and still cares for me. Well, this made me excited and decided that I wanted to see him so I asked him if he wanted to hang out sometime. He ended up telling me that he was kinda seeing someone else and it wouldnt be a good idea. I am having trouble with the fact that I was so excited about him asking about me I began to get feelings for him again only to be shot down. Now my depression seems to be even worse. Latley It seems that Ive been feeling like vibrations or like rumbling in my lower left kidney. It only last like for 3-5 seconds but has its own feeling. I've not had any blood in my urine but this feeling is scaring me. Any thoughts?
