Please please, quit!!!! It's not too late. Smoking is harmful any time. I had a friend die almost a month ago due to cigarettes and lung cancer. The ironic thing is that her brother died the next week of the very same thing!!!! I am not making this up. I also had a father in law that died of lung cancer. My mother had emphasema from smoking. Thank goodness I quit but not until I had 20 years of it. My husband still smokes, but he needs to stop too... He had his carotid artery cleaned out on both sides of his neck and even flat lined on the operating table! He was lucky, but he really is a smoking gun! I know how hard it is to quit once that you are addicted. I quit cold turkey for financial reasons. I knew it was bad for you, but when I have seen too many die or go through such hellatious pain and suffering, wow, I am so glad that I quit! My daughter who said she would never get addicted and could quit whenever she wanted, found out it didn't work that way.
It's an awful battle, think about another poor vise than this one!

Wow, you cannot be serious. You haven't realized that anything to do with cigarettes is bad for your health.
People who are exposed to secondhand smoke in work environments can end up with breathing problems and cancer, and they do not even have to be smoking themselves, they are just inhaling smoke from others cigarettes.
You really should rethink this decision before you end up with health problems that you did not have to have.
Go to the American Cancer Society website, it is quite an education. I thank the Blessed Lord every day that my parents never smoked, so I never have and my husband quit when he and I met.
Good luck, I hope you rethink this decision to bring health problems into your life.

Boy, are you asking for it. You realize, of course, you are going to catch it for this, don't you? I can't wait to see the other answers!
I used to smoke. The more I smoked, the less I enjoyed it, and the more I could tell it was impacting my health.
It only makes sense if you inhale it deeper and hold it in longer, you are going to introduce more carcinigenic toxins into your system.
Oh, and it makes your teeth yellow and makes you smell bad too. So tell me why on earth you want to do this to yourself?
