I applied for social security disability 90 days ago and have not heard anything what does reviewing my case mean?

it means they are going over all your medical records and paperwork with a fine tooth comb..talking to doctors and checking on any of the information you gave them
you should have heard something by now..i would call your case worker and see where it is in the process

It also means that they could be getting even more information such as from places where you may have worked to find out from them how your illness affected your job, or reading over letters that were sent by friends and family and asking for more information from them besides what was in the letters.

They may also be getting more information from their vocational specialist as part of the review to see if there's any job you can do such as a ticket taker (as an example) before making a decision about whether to approve your case.

Please contact the caseworker or attorney (if you have one) to find out what's going on. If you can't get much help from then please get in touch with the congressperson and Senator that covers the area of your State to see if they can help you find out what's going on.
