I have having problems with bloating and diarrhea the last year or so and have seen my gp, who referred me to the hospital, which have now diagnosed me with ibs.I have had other tests for allergies and intolerances which have came back negative so basically its now down to me to find out what triggers it, so to save time had a food sensitivity test done at my local health shop which involved me putting my hand face down on a table and the lady who performed the test put a small pen like thing to my finger, which was attached to a machine which she inserted different little test tubes with the name of certain foods on it. The machine made a noise when she touched my finger with the pen thingy and by the noise it made she could tell which foods are a problem for me. I thought the results were farely accurate but my doctor assures me its a load of rubbish, not worth the paper its written on which i found quite disappointing. I paid £39.
Has anyone else had these tests?

I've been to so many stores looking for near-sighted glasses, but all i've found are far-sighted (reading) ones. I already went to my eye doctor, but they said i had to wait a couple of weeks to get my glasses. i cant wait cause it bothers me a lot when i cant see. i wanna buy a pair of cheap ones to use temporarily, for now. but i cant find any. do u know where i can get some? if not, tell me WHY. thanx

Once in a while (once or twice per year) my left leg hurts for a period of a few days to a week. The pain is sharp, is if it feels like somebody is pulling my leg hair and/or an animal/insect is biting me or stinging me. The pain occurs randomly throughout the day, but only when I'm walking. It never hurts when I'm sitting and have no pressure on my leg from standing.

Oddly enough, it the pain intensifies when I rub it. Generally rubbing an area that hurts will overload the nerves and dull the pain (like when I hit my elbow or stub my toe), but rubbing this particular spot actually intensifies the pain.

It's on the left outer leg, halfway between my ankle and nee. The painful area is about the size of a credit card. There is no rash or bite marks of any kind, it looks normal on the outside.

What do you suspect is the problem and what is the solution?

I was taking 30+ for about a month and a half. I recently stopped about 3weeks ago.
I am 31 years old and have had an iregular cycle for a year or so. Taking the 30+ helped regulate and gave me releife for pms symtoms i was having.
I ovulated around the 26th and started a light period on the 1st that was brown and only had a bit of discomfort (not pain) and noticed bleeding from my gums that only lasted a couple of seconds the same morning i started what i think is my period.
I have never had this before.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this before and if my problem is a side affect from stopping the tablets?

I should also add that my partner and I are ttc, from what other people describe i dont think it's an implantation bleed.

Everyone says that spot-reduction of fat doesn't work, so don't do situps until you lose the layer of fat around your belly. Well I have lost a lot of weight doing only jogging and I am now at a BMI of about 19.8, down from a BMI of 25... I still have fat around my stomach but I am finding it REALLY hard to lose any more weight! I use ellipticals and treadmills anywhere from 4 to 6 days, usually 70 minutes per day.

Is it time for me to start doing sit ups????? Is there anything I can do to lose more weight and get a firmer stomach?

Once in a while I hear voices and it's really strange, it usually happens in the morning when i'm in bed. I woke up and was just laying down, and I got this really weird shock in my body, I can't explain it, but I felt as if something was going through my body that gave it a huge vibe. When this happened, I heard a man say "fun" to me... it was really odd and i'm still freaked out. is this normal? do you ever get this strange vibe in your body? it's really weird

I had a double bypass May 15, 2007 and have been having the same symptoms as before the bypass. If my arteries are reblocked which will be the process? Has this happened to anyone out there or anyone you know? I will see my cardiologist this week since the symptoms are getting worse.

Right now, he's taking 90mil of Avinza a day and 8 15mil of regular morphine for "breakthrough" pain. (But he takes all 8 of them every day - I think his addiction tells him that he's having breakthrough pain even if he's not.) The problem is that my friend is (was) a recovering drug addict and alcoholic with over 20 years in AA. It's like the "old" Charlie is gone. He is now "sick" a lot, sedated to the point of slurring his words, forgetting stuff, and sometimes not being able to get out of bed. He also suffers from lots of anxiety and says he's "scared". Is this the morphine addiction? Those of you who know, is the amount he is taking a lot? Thanks for your input.
