It depends on a lot of factors, which is why jumping is such an unreliable method of committing suicide. If you want to die but end up with several broken bones and major internal injuries, is that an improvement?

Be very careful. You can just end up crippled for the rest of your life if you thinking about jumping. The ways of the universe are very mysterious indeed and people get killed falling of the chair and then there are few cases of survival.
Air attendant Vukovic from Yugoslavian airline was the only person alive on board of plain dropping about 8000 metres from the sky. Russian pilot Meresjev jumped out of his burning fighter-plain without a parachute an only broke his two legs.[really bad, they had to chop them of to save him],but to make sad story happy, he learnt to dance and fly his new plain with his wooden legs.[to die a year later in another encounter with the German air force]

This actually depends on a few things... how you land, what you land on, etc etc.
I know the answer to this, but because suicidal people are on the net, I will not answer it.
If she is afraid of heights, tell her to talk to a counsellor about getting over her fears. it doesnt have to be like that for her.
