You have left out a lot of information. Are you sexually active? Have you had sex recently? These are just the start. You don't mention what your age is or anything. There are possibilities of missed periods especially in adolescense but without this info I can't tell you. If I were to guess you have been sexually active, just from your lack of information. I would get a pregency kit right away and maybe schedule an appointment with a doc. These things usually have a cause, like a father.pp

so you have had your period for 3 years and your period has never been regular then maybe you just aren't regular.....I'm not so my doctor put me on birth control to control it. In this case you should talk to your doctor about options and ways to become more regular.
BUT if you have had your period for 3 years and your period has always been regular until now, well that doesn't sound good....
1) you may just be late. wait and see how long it takes and keep track (write it done like on a calender) If it is just irregular this month then you are fine.... something weird happened but your body fixed its self
2) but if it continues to be irregular after 3 year of being regular.... then go to the doctor because something is happening in your body that it cant take care its self.

Some people have regular periods and some don't.. my friend's sister wouldn't get hers for like 2 months at a time.. if you're worried about it go see your doctor. I don't know how old you are though/how long you've had your period for. After a couple of years you should be more regular but in the beginning it can be all over the place! (Ew, okay, didn't mean that literally!!)

Whe I started I would skip for as much as 6 mos at a time, and at other times they would come as quickly as just under 3 weeks apart. If you have just begun menstruating, just finished a pregnancy or stopped the pill, it can be normal to have irregular periods (stress, exercise and diet can also affect this). If you have been sexually active, even with birth control, taking a pregnancy test may not be the worst idea, and if not, give your doctor a call. It is obviously enough of a concern to you to post the question...why not ask your doctor who does know your medical history. Good luck!

It all depends. How long have you been having your period, and are they usually regular. If you've not been menstruating for very long (under 2 years) this is normal, as it takes time for your cycle to settle. Have you had unprotected sex recently, particularly when you might have been ovulating? If so you could be pregnant, and should do a test asap. You might also have picked up an infection, so you should see your doctor and get yourself checked out

I don't know your age and that makes a difference. If you are very young (pre-teen or teen) , then your periods may be irregular or even skipped. If you are athletic person , then you could miss periods or have them even stop if you are very active. If you aren't sexually active (as I don't know you or your age) , then don't worry. If you are , then do a home pregnancy test and if positive, see a gynecologist. If you miss your period for too long, I'd say at least 2-3 months, then I would ask your family doctor. There could be many reasons to miss it and he/she can help.

Yes this is normal, periods have there times of being unreliable, sometoimes you will get your period then sumtimes you wont.... sumtimes you will get them three months late for no reason ands it will be for three days and during that time it will bleed the smallest amount and you will probably worry a little bit but this is normal so donnt worry to much...
hope this helps a little bit
this nis generally bound to happen if you have recently got your period or if you have had it less then three years
best of luck!!

You didn't say how old you were. Have you just started having periods? If so, this is very common until your body becomes more regular at having them. If this persists, then it's a good idea go consult your Dr.
If you've had sex, it could mean you might be pregnant.

Sometimes it takes ME up to a month and a half to 2 months to get a period. I guess it just depends on your body. If you really feel something is wrong tho you proly should see a doctor.
