I'm honestly not sure which is why i'm asking, after you get fixed or have a hysterectomy [sp?] do you still get your period and are they lighter or what...? i'm just curious~

ok, well since I've had my period for the past two days my blood pressure has been down. The first day the readings were 109 and 81 and then the second day they were 112 90, so I suppose its getting better. anyways, on the first day I took 2 multivitamins and 1 calcium and the second day I took 2 vitamin e's. Aside from all of this, the first day of my period and the second day I experienced sharp abdominal pain and severe constipation(I still have). The second day when I woke up to my period, I felt strange because I couldn't breathe deeply. I could breath but just not like I could regularly. I haven't had any sharp pains in my chest so it can't be a pulled muscle , it must be something else. I feel short breathed. I feel like i'm not getting enough oxygen or something. I can't decipher how I feel, it's an odd feeling. I feel scared to go to sleep because as soon as I close my eyes I feel like I can't breathe sometimes. anyways, if you guys think you know what it might be, please do tell me. And yes, yes I made an appointment to see the doctor tomorrow. Please help, as I am only 17 years old.

I have never had allergies to any animals (especially cats, since I've always had a cat my whole life). But recently I get itchy eyes and a dry throat and some sneezing when I'm around my 2 cats. When I leave the room, I feel better. Possible allergies? Can they develop only when pregnant?

I am thinking about having Lasiks done. Are there any risks and is it a good thing to do? Has anyone ever done it? I have been wearing glasses/contacts since I was about 7. I found a place near my hometown that does Lasiks and I'm just concerned about the pros and cons.

Is there any way to get my eyes whiter quick. I'm going out tonight and my eyes are kinda red. I don't have any eye drops. I heard that putting ice or an ice pack on your closed eyes helps, is that true? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!!!

I noticed increased, yellowish discharge last week and made a doctor's appointment, as I suspected bacterial vaginosis. When I tested my vaginal pH with a Vagisil screening kit, it indicated my pH was very high (over 7). I thought for sure I had BV and went to the doctor this afternoon.

She didn't find ANYTHING, even though I requested that she look for BV, trick, and send off samples for chlamydia and gonorrhea, too. She said she didn't think ANYTHING would come back positive, and that I should just wait til I take the ring out on Friday, have a period, and observe the discharge after that.

Suddenly I'm now realizing, as I search through the NuvaRing prescriber information online, that I inserted the Ring two days late last time. My boyfriend never ejaculates into me, and we don't often have sex, but I'm absolutely terrified I'm pregnant and that I WON'T get a period.

Please help!!! Am I overreacting?

I went to the gynocologist b/c i was having an odd discharge. she said she was going to test for infections and do a culture. when the bill came in there was $200 worth of std testing that didnt know she was testing me for. if she would have asked i could have told her there was no way i could have stds b/c i am a virgin & havent had sexual contact. is it my fault for not asking exactly what cultures she was testing me for or hers for not telling me she was testing for stds?

I'm 15 years old & I've been having this very painful, sharp pain in my lower tummy. I've had this for about a week now. It hurts especially when i have to pee, and it hurts worse when i put pressure to pee. It doesn't burn when i go, but it did on the first day it started. There is a VERY VERY small chance of me being pregnant, but i very highly doubt it. Anyone experience this, or know what it might be? Mom won't take me to a doctor, she just got me some cranberry juice.

I'm on Ortho Tri Cyclen. I just finished the first month of pills. I have noticed that while I've been on this pill I sometimes feel very angry/hostile. I don't ever have mood problems. I'm normally a calm person. It makes me snap at my boyfriend for no reason. I'm thinking it must be the birth control.

HOw long should I continue to take this pill? If I give it another month or two will my system adjust?

If not, what pills have you taken that didn't make you moody and didn't affect your sex drive?

I have a moderate disc bulge at the L5-S1. Pain and stiffness are fairly manageable but I have been advised squatting, deadlifting and now leg pressing is out of the question. This is laugable to even ask but I don't know what other options are left. Has anyone out there had any meaningful growth (or know of anyone) from leg extensions and leg curls? Go ahead and laugh, I know I would but until you're lying on a floor sometime and can't get up it's hard to understand.
